Solve 3 new Hitori puzzles every day. Rules: a number cannot appear more than once in each row or column, black cells cannot be horizontally or vertically adjacent to each other and the remaining cells form one area and are all connected horizontally or vertically.

   Read the rule at the start - every puzzle family has its own rule.

   Scan for the clue with the fewest options and solve that first.

   Write small notes in the cells where you are not sure yet.

   Cross off a candidate every time you place a number.

5. 5

   When every cell is filled, quickly re-check the trickiest row or column.
